Code Of Conduct

Purpose: This Code of Conduct Policy is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all clients, employees, and visitors within our serviced office premises. We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from any form of harassment, discrimination, violence, and other unacceptable behaviours.

Scope: This policy applies to all tenants, tenants team members, tenant guests, Brentano Suite employees, building contractors, visitors, and any other individuals who interact with The Brentano Suite serviced office business.

Rules:

1. Respect and Professionalism:

  • All individuals are expected to treat each other with respect and professionalism.
  • Disrespectful or unprofessional behaviour, including inappropriate language or gestures, is not tolerated.

Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations:

  • All individuals are required to comply with health and safety guidelines, including emergency procedures, fire drills, hygiene standards, and any specific regulations outlined by the serviced office management.

Noise and Disturbance:

  • Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or any other actions that disturb other tenants or disrupt the professional working environment will not be tolerated.

Property Damage and Theft

  • Vandalism, theft, or unauthorised use of office equipment, furniture, or other property belonging to the Brentano Suite or other tenants will not be tolerated.
  • Any intentional damage to property or theft will be treated as a criminal offense.
  • The Brentano Suite will not accept any liability or responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal items of any kind brought or left on the premises by visitors/guests (including cars parked within the car park) at any time.

Unauthorised Access

  • Unauthorised access to restricted areas, or sharing confidential information is strictly prohibited.
  • Only authorised individuals are allowed to enter specific areas or access sensitive data.
  • Guests of meeting room bookings will be permitted to access the Brentano Suite space during the booking period only. You must register all guests prior to the booking.  Guests are required to check-in at the front desk, and we will notify you of their arrival. Guests will not have access to any other areas of the building except the meeting room(s) booked, breakout areas and cloakrooms.
  • You are responsible for your guests while they are in the Brentano Suite space. The Brentano Suite reserves the right to restrict access to guests in the event such access or use of the Brentano Suite space violates the Code of Coduct or the terms of your membership agreement.
  • You are not permitted to make copies of any keys, keycards or other means of entry to any Brentano Suite space, or lend, share or transfer any keys or keycards to any third party, unless authorised by us in advance.

Harassment and Discrimination

  • We have Code of Conduct for any form of harassment or discrimination based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Any behaviour that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment is strictly prohibited.

Violence and Threats

  • Acts or threats of violence, whether verbal or physical, are not tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Possession of weapons or dangerous items on the premises is strictly forbidden.

Bullying and Intimidation

  • Bullying, intimidation, or any form of coercion is not acceptable.
  • This includes cyberbullying or any form of harassment through electronic communication.

Substance Abuse

  • The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs on the premises is prohibited.
  • Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on the premises is not allowed.

Reporting and Enforcement

  • Any incidents or violations of this policy should be reported immediately to The Brentano Suite management.
  • If the complaint relates to a Brentano Suite management individual, then this should be reported directly to the owner of the Brentano Suite.
  • All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly and thoroughly.
  • Violations of this policy may result in termination of contracts or services, and, if necessary, legal action.
